April 2021 I began working on a project titled "Birds on my Deck"  Spring in the Rockies sometimes feels like it is never going to come. There's still a lot of snow and the back country is hard to access and anywhere the snow has melted is grey or brown and dreary.  I've been feeding birds for the first time this year and have enjoyed watching them come to visit. Most of the photos attached are of birds that have a body the size of a golf ball or smaller.  It's been a challenge to try and capture clear photos of some of them as they move so quickly.  They have become more used to me as the year has gone on and finally don't always fly away when I open the door in the morning to feed them.  I'm looking forward to adding to this project in the years to come.
